picts to hopefully come soon. keira has her first 'big girl' bike - with training wheels! she's been motoring all over!!! ian had some of his official first steps in the last 2ish weeks. he still doesn't want to walk, but now and then we convince him;) he's got the pediatrician and rehabilitation specialist at the glenrose concerned with his development...i think i already blogged that it is agreed he needs surgery for his foot and leg. we're seeing physio, occupational and speech therapists locally and having more specialist appts in the city. he needs another mri done - the first one was of his spine, this one will be of his head. we're not overly concerned because he's still progressing, but they want him to also see some sort of genetic specialist...i don't know. he's all good, i think they're just covering their bases. keira had her sleep over at the stollery the other week - she did super good considering they 'wired' her all up - all over her body. will try to scan in the pict they took. she has some polysomething appt, and an eeg and a neurosomething appt...the next month or two is super busy. all to figure out why she's incapable of sleeping much...they both have ear infections again. i think this is ian's 12th or 13th since november. no exaggerating. he'd been on amox for 10 days and at 10 days it was worse and in both ears. keira's got one as well. they might both have to go in for tubes again....ian needs one more ear infection before the eent at the stollery will see him again. so in 3 weeks...;)
all is well though. we had rev. kalkman twice today and he was really good! this aft was about how crucial it is to believe that christ actually physically arose from the grave. if he didn't conquer death how could he pay for our sins. and the historical and biblical evidence that he did physically arise is our pledge that He will return to us. wish i could somehow retain things better!
hope this finds everyone healthy and doing well!!! spring is here, despite what it looks like outside!!! before easter we had a fresh bunch of snow, and i was struck by how pure white fresh snow is. and that is in our limited vision - our sins are washed away, and we are made pure, blameless, and the white that christ makes us is beyond our comprehension! beyond our imagination! beautiful!
