so...things have been pretty fun lately:) ian's been super colicky ...we ran into the city today to see his doctor at the stollery. it ends up that he's fallen off the 25th percentile in the last 3 weeks to the 10th percentile. he's on the maximum amt of prevacid that the gi specialist allows (basically he is having the same amount as an adult) plus he's on the zantac on top of it, which the gi said is even a bit much. with all that, it's not helping. if things don't improve over the weekend i have to take him off the nutramigen and put him on neocate. as if $130/2 weeks isn't enough. oh, well. just want him to be happy - he's such a loveable snufie and isn't meant to be screaming so much. tomorrow, for the 4th friday in a row we're going to stollery for his legs. we'll see if he gets a 4th set of casts or not...it looks so sad seeing those casts on his little legs all the way up to his hips practically. but whatever it takes - so hopefully he can run around like most other boys! so thankful that there is so much we can do nowadays! such a blessing!
grandma vg has been awesome, and has been watching keira while we see the specialist. last time we waited 2 hours to see the doctor, and then it took over an hour to get the casts on...not so exciting for a 22 month old:( but i miss my companion on the drive to the city and back, it's pretty lonely without her:)
about keira's tubes...she is happier during the day, and she's not as upset at night...she's just still not sleeping from 12am-4am. and ian feeds right before and after that, so nights are rough. hopefully it's just because her system is so used to it, and it will slowly wear off. she's saying the cutest things, and doing the cutest things....and i now understand about the terrible 2's....testing mom everywhere, especially the grocery store!!! :) we're loving it and trying to stay one step ahead...ya right! we're trying to keep up:)
i have sooooo many picts - i just need to spend a little bit of time here at the computer...soon...hope this finds everyone doing well!!! lots of luv!!!
oh yes, ian is almost 4 months and he is 12lbs and 10oz! love him and his sister to pieces!
