so time is passing us by and i haven't accomplished anything! right after my birthday we went camping for a couple days, we got home and ....there aren't too many people that can view this blog.....and you can't tell anyone...but keira fell off of the kitchen counter. i was like 1/2 a step away, and she flipped from her back onto her stomach. she now does that regularly - on the floor!!! anyways, she wailed (?) her nose/cheek on the way down and landed on her stomach. needless to say it hurt her pretty bad, i took it hard and so did kev. that scream/cry just sends shivers down your spine. you may have been wondering about the bruise under her left eye. it was pretty rough - the time right up until smithers - in that 2 week window we saw the doctor 3-4 times....she had a fat lip...she couldn't eat/drink for a bit...anyways. can't talk about it. thankfully by the time we went to smithers she was her normal self. then we came back and i got sick within 12 hours. after the 2nd day i checked my temperature and it was over 102....my head was pounding, i was dizzy, i went from hot to cold....yes you know all that fun stuff. my doctor thought maybe strep so he took a swab.....but i haven't heard anything since so that must mean good news! i can go to wpg tomorrow:) it's kev's birthday today and keira and i just came back from the derby to put her to bed and keep packing...so we're out of the house in less than 12 hours.
i guess it must be normal (?) once you have kids to have bumps and bruises and such things and it's much more eventful around the house. as long as it doesn't happen again because of my negligence!!!
so, we're determined to be healthy and hardy for the rest of the summer. we hope all is going well - i heard that mark and sacha had a baby girl - congrats!!!! so exciting! i'm also waiting for will and shawna - excited about that too! brandi - i've said so many times that i will call you! well, one day i will! so much is going on! much to be thankful for!
so, hopefully i'll see some of you real soon - i checked the temperature for gimli next week - it's supposed to feel like 30-36 while we're camping. fun, fun.
