Keira and I were fortunate to find some cheap flights to wpg...so off we went on an adventure:) The flight there went well - no delays, grandpa and grandma kuik were there waiting to help, very nice. The flight back, not so nice - delayed; plus no room, plus cranky mom and baby to arrive at the airport with no one to meet/help us...anyways, we arrived home safely:) that's what counts! it was nice to see michelle before she took off to europe, nice for keira to meet her uncles and aunts, great aunts, grandparents, and great grandparents:) plus she was able to meet a new cousin - Amanda gave birth to Jamin on the monday that we arrived - Keira is massive compared to him - 10 weeks apart.

Things have not been going so well since we've been back - I've been trying to wean Keira off of me and solely (?) onto formula. She is completely airlocked and is not having a good time. The last 3 days have been very trying - she's cried/screamed all day; the only thing that sometimes stops her is my walking around bouncing her. Baths, massages,...I can't think of all the things we've tried. Her doctor is gone, and the other doctor hasn't returned our call yet. The nurses at the health unit don't have any new suggestions - just that it will take time. I know everybody goes through with this - so we're sticking it out:) The nurses are now debating if she is colicky. (at 4 -8 weeks they said it was to early to determine if she was). so, yah, we're not getting anything done around here, but it will all be worth it eventually when she can fill her diaper:)
