my car seat limit is 73 cm. and 22 lbs. i am waiting for my new car seat to come in any day now to stay legal:)

i forgot to mention taht we went to smithers to celebrate with family grandpa vg's 80th birthday. it was pretty special - we were there 5 years ago to celebrate his 75th. there was alot of family! i had already posted some picts but i didn't right anything....so, i think we're done travelling for now:)

soooo...our baby is 10 months today. wahooooo! the last 5 months have been so amazing when it comes to feeding her - there was something definately wrong with dairy!!! feeding her is a dream now, and she is not gassy or in pain.....loving it!!! the only pain is teething and i KNOW that is normal:) and the last week she is actually starting to sleep more during the night...she might wake up a time or two and cry...but it seems like she is starting to be able to put herself to sleep. the longest i've let her cry in the last week was 45 minutes, and that was only twice...and she's stayed in her own bed....it's been so amazing and awesome lately. she's ALWAYS been amazing, we're just being able to enjoy it more and more each day!!! she goes to the pediatrician next week...and i'll hopefully find out if she has more allergies...or see if she's still allergic to milk...hopefully start taking her off of the formula that we love so much ('cause she loves it:) but which is sooo expensive. all is good - we are happy!
so. since i've posted last, grandpa and grandma vp had their anniversary celebration! (already in august...a while i ago i know:) we had a lot of fun and fellowship with the family - it was very nice! it's been a while since so many of us were together, and so many of my cousins are growing up...wow.
we've also taken a family holiday to california since then as well. california was gorgeous - we were almost right on the ocean - within 3 minutes we were walking on the beach. gorgeous - big waves, lots of sun....we all got some color. oh yes, kev broke his finger just before we left....but that's over a month ago now and he doesn't have to wear the splint anymore.
keira is motoring all over...we just put up a baby gate today...we've been doing the 'no' and the tap on the fingers...but she knows when we're not watching and likes to head straight for the things she's not supposed to touch - they learn so fast! :) kev (and i) like the part of living in town because he spends his whole lunch on the ground racing and playing with keira - we are so incredibly blessed!!! so many special moments:) he gets to see her before he heads to work, then at lunch, then he gets to say good night to her just as she's heading to bed. there are a lot of families out here where the dad's on the road alot and they don't have this kind of time at home. we know we're very fortunate and we're enjoying every moment of it!
unfortunately i don't think we'll be heading to wpg for christmas....that's 2 years in a row that we're missing it. oh well, we'll be coming out shortly after - or at least keira and i will be so she can meet her new cousin!!! we're looking forward to that - i'm sure bonit is as well - a couple more months to go:) anyways, a quick hello to everyone and love from us - we are still here! :)
